Tara Fischer, LPC

I am here to help support, challenge, and empower you to be the person you want to be. The therapeutic process and change can be difficult and scary. I feel honored to be able to help guide you through that process. My client-centered, trauma-informed, and non-judgmental approach allows me to meet you where you are and help get you to where you want to be. My number one goal is to establish a safe, trusting, transparent, and warm, positive environment and relationship. I am here to listen and let you guide us in the process so that you are able to open up and be vulnerable in a way that best helps you. I want to help you recognize the areas of your life that need improvements and celebrate the parts of yourself that make you feel proud, healthy and balanced. There is a lot more to a person than their diagnosis and label, and I enjoy getting to know you as the unique person you are.

I work primarily with individuals and couples that experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, DMDD, relationship issues, trauma, life transitions, parenting concerns, self-esteem, and various other mental health concerns. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focus Therapy, Person-Centered, and Motivational Interviewing. I provide a holistic approach focusing on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person.

I work with clients age 5-65.
