Lisa Anderson, LPC
I believe that recovery is possible! Having to overcome my own history of trauma, I have gained the right skills to be able to heal and be successful. These skills have assisted in getting me to where I am today! I know the pain of abuse and how it can affect all areas of a person’s life. I strive to help individuals find their own happiness by using my expertise as a therapist to assist in moving my clients forward.
I have been in the Human Services field for 25 years, with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling as my educational foundation. Now, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families to help them become healthy and happy. Whatever the age, I want my clients to not just survive but thrive.
Beyond my role as a counselor, I am also a published author. My book, "Loosen The Grip: Strategies for Raising Independent and Confident Critical Thinkers," offers valuable insights and practical strategies to help individuals foster independent thinking and confidence in critical decision-making.
I specialize in Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dr. John Gottman Couples Therapy, Play Therapy and Brainspotting.
